Studying solid tumors and their micro-environment based on automated large-scale 3D fluorescence imaging

Profound analysis of the heterogeneous tumor physiology and cellular dynamics within the tumor microenvironment requires comprehensive 3D imaging data. Commonly used techniques of classic histology and 2D microscopy are unable to meet this need. In this webinar, we introduce the UltraMicroscope Blaze™, which enables high-resolution 3D visualization of large solid tumors and their microenvironment. This platform allows quantification of multiple tumor parameters and cell infiltration into the tumor (e.g. CAR T cell tracking) at subcellular resolution. The resultant 3D data from entire solid tumors support early drug development by providing new insights into drug delivery pathways, for example. Multiple smaller samples like spheroids can be imaged automatically in one run to reduce hands-on time. With cutting-edge light sheet optics the microscope operates as a virtual microtome which performs section-free high-resolution 3D imaging of large or multiple samples.

  • Learn about large-scale 3D imaging with light sheet microscopy
  • Gain insights into typical sample preparation protocols for light sheet microscopy
  • Understand the benefits of light sheet microscopy in IO research
  • Get an overview of how to image and analyze multiple organs or tumors
  • Comprehend cellular tracking in solid tumors using light sheet microscopy
