Charles Wilfong Charles Wilfong is Vice President of Information Management and Facilities Engineering functions at Adaptimmune, where he is responsible for global strategies and operations. He has 23 years’ experience across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and engineering industries supporting Research, Clinical, Manufacturing and Commercial functions. Charles has led several large cross-functional change management initiatives to digitize core business process and make better use of data and analytics. He has a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, and a Master of Business Administration and Master of Public and International Affairs from University of Pittsburgh.
Dan Lowther is Information Management Director of Enterprise Data and Analytics at Adaptimmune, where he is responsible for growing data and analytical capabilities and strategies that support development of company products. He most recently led the Translational Bioinformatics team. He received a BA in Biological Sciences from St Peter’s College, University of Oxford, and a PhD in Infectious Diseases and Immunity from Imperial College London. He completed his post-doctoral research into the roles of T cells in Gliobastoma at the Yale University School of Medicine. There he worked with Bristol-Myers Squibb on the first trial of nivolumab and ipilimumab in glioblastoma patients (CHECKMATE-143), and translational investigations of these therapies.
