Suzy Brown is the Senior Field Application Scientist for Pharma Analytics, Bioproduction, supporting customers in the UK and Ireland. She has been with Thermo Fisher Scientific for over 6 years, where she provides customer training and implementation support of the Pharma Analytics portfolio. During this time, she has taken on the role of MycoSEQ product champion for the EMEA region.

Suzy gained a Cell Biology degree, and later a Developmental Biology PhD at The University of Manchester (UK) where she applied molecular, proteomic and next-generation sequencing approaches to identify genes required for pattern formation in model organism Dictyostelium discoideum development. Following university, Suzy moved into the biopharmaceutical industry and worked as an Analytical Development Scientist for 3 years within a molecular biology team, and has experience in qPCR, Sanger sequencing and impurity testing.
