Improved lentivirus recovery by weak anion exchange capture

Live30 webinars are thirty minute presentations designed to update you on the latest innovations, applications and data in a fast yet interactive format.

Purification of lentiviral vector is highly challenging due to the low stability of the enveloped virus that is sensitive to low pH, high salt, temperature, and shear forces for example. Typically, LV purification is carried out using anion exchange capture chromatography, but with low recoveries. As such, improved approaches to LV recovery underpin the potential for scalable, safe cell and gene therapy manufacture.

In this webinar you will learn more about:

  • Real world challenges in the lentiviral manufacturing workflow, with a focus on downstream processes
  • Utilizing weak anion exchange capture to optimize downstream purification efficiency and vector recovery
