Accelerating AAV production: optimizing compound identification and process parameters

The high cost of gene therapies presents a major challenge, not only in bringing these life-saving treatments to the market but also in making them accessible to patients once available. One of the primary drivers of these costs is insufficient production yields.

In this webinar, Virica Biotech and Culture Biosciences experts will present innovative solutions to address these challenges. Real-world case studies will highlight improved productivity, shorter timelines, and more efficient scale-up. Attendees will gain insights into optimizing AAV production using data-driven solutions, which offer significant advantages over traditional methods.

Virica will showcase how Viral Sensitizers and a Design of Experiments (DoE) workflow can accelerate the identification of compounds that enhance AAV production. Culture Biosciences will demonstrate how a cloud-connected bioreactor platform enables rapid, scalable evaluation of parameters, facilitating the transition from lab-scale to large-scale production.

  • Identify key challenges that impact AAV production and address these issues using advanced tools and workflows
  • How to optimize compound identification with high-throughput virology to boost AAV productivity and leverage a cloud-connected bioreactor platform to enable rapid, evaluation of production parameters with transparent data transfer
  • Explore data comparing the efficiency and yield improvements between DoE-based compound identification and traditional non-DoE methods
  • See how DoE and cloud bioreactor platforms have been successfully implemented in real-world AAV production, reducing timelines and improving overall process efficiency
